iOS Developer Shares iAds Revenue Earnings, All Developers Rejoice

How much did one developer make during the first day of iAds implementation in his app? Fourteen hundred dollars on a eCPM of $150. That’s actually quite a bit for a single day, and the numbers are interesting when compared to Ad-Mob.

Just as I predicted, iAds are getting a higher click-through rate than Ad-Mob ads. Five times as much if we use this developer’s stats as a baseline. The Next Web reports,

Click Through Rates are around five times higher and iAd’s eCPM (Effective cost-per-thousand impressions) – which is calculated by dividing total earnings by total number of impressions in thousands – is off the charts in comparison to one developers Ad-Mob’s results…

Reportedly, Apple has already raked in $60 million in revenue, with 60% of that going to developers. That’s pretty amazing. You can get all the detailed stats at the source link below.
