Why Is There A White iPhone on Verizon’s Website? [Update: It’s Gone]

Well well, would you look at that. The Verizon iPhone product pages are online, and we found something really interesting. A white iPhone 4! Yes, the mythical device that has now taken the throne of all Apple rumors.

Verizon is listing both the black and white models on its product guide, although we suspect it’s a simple mistake, considering these renderings don’t have the new black lines at the top required for the device to work on CDMA. Plus, Tim Cook didn’t mention the white iPhone at Verizon’s media event.

Still, this device keeps showing up. And we keep hoping.

Update: And the white iPhone is gone, again. Looks like it really was an error, after all.
