If you already have the magical slate, make sure you download Epicurious from the App Store so you don’t miss out on a variety of Christmas recipes and holiday dinner ideas that are likely to put a smile on the grumpiest of grandpas.
Having a sweet-tooth, Epicurious has specifically denoted a section (right on top!) for Christmas cookies. By golly I can’t tell you how delicious a Double Chocolate-Peppermint Crunch is (it’s pretty tasty), but you can find all sorts of delicious ideas from kolacky to biscotti, gingerbread to shortbread, and meringue stars to macaroons. There will be something for everyone to try, and Epicurious is kind enough to show each recipe’s rating so you’re not diving into a desert disaster.
