You Can’t Dance Like Steve Jobs With Jenga for iPhone

When Steve Jobs announced the Gyroscope, it was all fun and games. Demonstrating a version of Jenga, he gleefully danced about trying to keep his tower from toppling. Now you too can (sorta) join in on the fun with the official Jenga for iPhone.

Normally I would think twice to look at a block of wood, but Jenga for the iPhone has certainly caught my attention. The Retina Display showcases beautiful backdrops as you remove various blocks from an ever weakening tower. However, unlike Steve Jobs’ magical version, this version of Jenga doesn’t take advantage of the gyroscope. Sorry folks, there’ll be no hilarious videos of dad busting a move on Youtube. Apparently both balancing and hand-eye coordination would have been deemed too tough for the casual player, but we’re up for the challenge if the developers of Jenga are up to the challenge. While this may be a deal breaker, it still makes for a fun family game in lieu of Monopoly or Yahtzee, and you can pick it up from the App Store for $2.99.
