So we haven’t got a weather widget on the iPad. Fine, I guess it’s just up to 3rd party developers to come up with their solutions to let users check the weather on their iPads, and Weather HD from Vimov takes a complete new approach, which may appeal a lot of people.

The application contains 70MB of high quality video footage of different weather conditions that show the weather in a selected location. Sure it can get tiring after some time, but can you imagine the average user taking his iPad to show the thing off to his friends? At $0.99, this one will sell a lot of copies.
