Storing applications licenses is quite a mess: either you have to keep a very well organized mail inbox or youàll end up having a ton of PDFs into your hard disk that donàt make any sense. Fortunately, some developers have come up with applications meant for storing applications licenses, sort of meta but it definitely works. Just take a look at App Shelf or 1Password, which comes with a dedicated feature for licenses.
Is there room for something better? Probably, and that’s what AppChest aims at.
Developed by Tool Force Software, AppChest will allow you to store detailed information about your software licenses in a very polished and elegant user interface. I’m personally testing the application and I must say I’m very surprised by the ease to enter details, attach files and even change the icon of each license. The animation are good as well, and I found very pleasant to navigate the app and go through all the menus.
