Yet Another Email from Jobs, Apple Is Not Dropping Mac OS X Development

Right after Apple announced the WWDC dates for this year and the Apple Design Awards categories, many users and developers started complaining that Apple was indeed dropping support for Mac OS X, considering that  there won’t Mac ADAs.

As usual, someone decided to email Steve and got another response.

Greg Walker’s email:

“I would like to know if Apple is putting a de-emphasis on Macintosh OSX software development moving forward?

Is Apple’s future direction to support only mobile application development?”

Steve’s reply:

“No.

Sent from my iPhone”

Well now that’s reassuring! Thanks Steve, we won’t stop believing.
