Sony Executives Call Apple Arrogant, Admit Defeat at Same Time

Is Sony digging their own grave? I kind of think they’re eventually going to eat these words, because they really haven’t made some of the best decisions recently either. Sony Computer Entertainment Australia Executive, Michael Ephraim, claims, “I don’t think we are arrogant anymore.” Says the company who totally shafted people (and the United States Air Force) now that they don’t support Linux on their Playstations.

The Loop quotes Ephraim as saying,

“I think we can name a company that is a fruit that is in the news a lot about their arrogance. I think they have taken the mantle from us, if we were ever arrogant!”

Does that make sense to any of you? Me neither, but it must suck being the loser. Today at Google’s I/O keynote, amidst all the Apple bashing, Sony CEO Howard Stinger admits it:

“When you beat Apple, you are dominating.”

I don’t care whether companies are afraid of Apple or not, but be careful not to stick your foot in your mouth next time, okay Sony?
