Sneak Peek at Reeder for iPad

People have been talking a lot about the “second wave” of iPad apps these days. It’s pretty obvious that many developers rushed to have apps out in the iPad App Store on day one and many others are still working on new ones to be released / announced after the WWDC. That would be the second wave, if you’d like to call it so. And you can expect it to be freaking good.

To get straight to the point, we all know what’s the app currently missing on the iPad. If you’re an active Google Reader user and have an iPhone, I bet 10 bucks that you’re waiting for Reeder to be available on your tablet. If so, you should take a look at the screenshots we have below.

UPDATE: Check out our review of Reeder for iPad here.

Reeder on the iPad already looks and works great. We can’t share much now, but I’m telling you - it’s way better than the iPhone version. Not because the iPhone app is flawed, but because Reeder on this new device just makes much more sense. The first beta we’re trying is fast (I mean it, fast) fluid and it’s beautiful to look at. I’m seriously impressed by how a single dev can put entire teams to shame when it comes to engine optimization and pure ideas.

Reeder for iPad doesn’t take the usual Mail-ish approach to user interface. Finally, one might say - considering that all the current iPad apps look pretty much the same. It’s a brand new and fresh experience, which has already slightly changed the way I look at iPad apps now.

We’d love to share more with you guys, but we can’t. One thing is clear though: you don’t mess with Silvio Rizzi. You should look forward to Reeder for iPad.
