iPhone OS has Triple the Market Share of Android

CNET is reporting this afternoon that the iPhone holds 28% of the market share, while Android only holds 9%. The iPhone is certainly a popular device, but didn’t earlier reports have Apple at around 21% with Android at 28%? What’s going on here? As it stands, Apple and Google are playing a very tough game of tug of war, and neither is backing down. Though with Android phones coming out every month, compared to yearly releases of the iPhone, will popularity or sheer production win out in the end?
