Apple Sues HTC, Again

Apple has filed another patent infringement against HTC, Patently Apple reports. The sue extends to other HTC subsidiaries such as Exedea, which imports and sells in the United States mobile device produced by HTC.

Apple sued HTC for the first time back in March, filing a lawsuit of over 20 patent infringements. HTC fired back in May by counter-suing over, again, patent infringement. Now, the Cupertino company is adding 4 new patents:

- 7,383,453 (the ‘453 patent): Conserving power by reducing voltage supplied to an instruction-processing portion of a processor

- 7,657,849 (the ‘849 patent): Unlocking a device by performing gestures on an unlock image

- 6,282,646 (the ‘646 patent): System for real-time adaptation to changes in display configuration

- 7,380,116 (the ‘116 patent): System for real-time adaptation to changes in display configuration

(Collectively: the “Asserted Patents”).

The story continues.
