More Case Photos Confirm New iPod Touch & Nano Design

Apple’s music event is tomorrow, the wait is almost over. In about 24 hours we’ll know everything about new iPod Touches, iPod Nanos (or Shuffles) iTV and whatever the rumor makers want Apple to announce. Still, it’s time for some last minute speculation.

Photos of the new iPod Nano cases started floating around on the internet yesterday (see TUAW’s coverage here), and I think that design is legit. Accessory manufacturers are the only part of the “new device chain” Apple can’t control. And to gain publicity, they leak stuff.

iLounge is now posting pics of more iPod Touch and Nano (I still think it’ll be a Shuffle, though) cases, which confirm what we’ve been discussing all along: tiny touch screen, camera for the iPod Touch.

Those are new cases from X-Doria. Here, we linked to the website. iLounge also reports:

“We have thus far been unable to confirm whether the rectangular hole on the rear of the shuffle 4G/nano 6G case is for a clip or for access to some other feature.”

A rear dock connector?

24 hours.
