First Look: Things for iPad

We heard some weeks ago that Things from Cultured Code was coming to the iPad, but honestly, I didn’t expect to come out so soon. Things has already been approved by Apple, ready to be sold at $19.99 in the App Store.

The only screenshots we have show the app running in the landscape (split view) mode, with a dark sidebar on the left and a cleaner section to enter and organize your actual todos on the right. There’s the inbox, the next tab, your someday actions, projects - all the things (no pun intended) you’ve gotten used to see on your Mac. Still, no words about over the air sync, which should come anyway in the near future.

From what I tell Cultured Code tried the “real life object” approach, as the app uses elements like faux leather and paper sheet to give the feeling of a real organizer. We can’t wait to try this out. Just as I can’t wait to see what Omnifocus will look like.
