Notably is reminiscent of iBooks. They’re very simple things: they display beautiful pages; allow you to select gorgeous fonts and change font size; plus, the experience is just great. Notably for the iPad is an elegant notepad that could be considered an upgrade from Apple’s own notes.
Notably is one of those applications that keeps things simple. It offers users a new interface, while bringing some unordinary features to the table, such as the ability to title your notes and select from a variety of fonts. While these don’t seem like compelling features, Notably is just quaint. There’s a lot of visual goodies too, such as how titles automatically resize based on length or how new pages appear as you create them. Autocorrection is available too so that you can remain in your flow without constant backspacing.
