Sometimes I happen to go out with some friends and enjoy a good beer over at a pub called “Porter”. Usually, a few pizzas go over with that beers. Then, when it’s time to split the bill and pay - nobody knows what to do. Should I just pay with my credit card and than take the money from my friends? Should we all put our cash together and pay the right amount? What about the tip?
Bistromath for iPhone really comes in handy in situations like the one described above.
Bistromath helps you in splitting checks and keeping track of who’s paid with a great looking and intuitive user interface. Really, it’s great design, just like the icon that will land on your home screen.
The workflow is simple and effective: there’s a main page with all your checks, organized by date. To add a new one, tap in the + button in the top right corner, then add a dish and adjust sale taxes (if any) or tip. From the same tax screen you can add guests from the Contacts apps and delete the check. Adding a dish is, again, very simple: tap the + button, a box slides down and a custom numeric keyboard pops in. Done. It’s cool.
Dishes come with beautiful icons and you can edit them at any time. You can add or remove guests, change the icon and enter a description. Furthermore, you can customize the way the app splits the cost among guests. Last, you can collaborate wirelessly with you friends on checks (interesting feature) and email great looking receipts from within the application.
Bistromath is packed with good features, a delicious UI and a great user experience. It’s available at $2.99 in the App Store, and if you’re a user who’s into this kind of apps - Bistromath is a must have.
