Sneak Peek: Bulletin, New RSS App for iPhone by Tim Davies

Developers will never stop dreaming about the perfect RSS reader for iPhone or at least, they have to try. I’ve come to this conclusion after trying many feeds readers actually, like Byline, Newsrack (former Newstand), Newsprint, Reeder, MobileRSS Pro. They’re all great applications but the question is - is there room for one more?

Sure there is, and we think Bulletin by Tim Davies is gonna be the next big thing in its category.

We can’t say much about Bulletin at this time as the app is still in the alpha stage, but Tim sent us a video to embed in this post, which shows the basic functionalities he’s already built into the app, together with some UI awesomeness. And yeah, Bulletin already looks awesome, detailed and fast.

(You can watch the video here as well)

Bulletin will feature HTML viewing for the feeds’ content, and it will also support Youtube videos directly within the app. As you can see, the way Bulletin loads images in the posts is very nicely implemented too. Third party services will be supported, but we can’t confirm which ones yet.

We’ll keep you posted about the development process of Bulletin but in the meantime, be sure to follow Tim Davies on Twitter or visit his website.
