EpicWin: Now Epicer with Retina Graphics and More Loot

EpicWin is an interesting app for iPhone to get things done we reviewed a while ago which combines typical productivity features as a todo list with…RPG elements. As you get things done and check off items from your list your character moves on in a RPG-inspired map, collects loots and becomes an epic hero. It’s an original approach to mobile productivity you should definitely check out.

The latest 1.2 update brings much requested features such as Retina Graphics, more loot and a better levelling-up system to the offer. Together with additional audio sets and a new tab for completed quests the app now feels very good on the iPhone 4 - and I can’t help but giving it my 100% thumbs-up now. I can finally use EpicWin.

Available at $2.99 in the App Store, check out the full changelog below.

It got more Epicer:
- Retina Graphics
- A much better Levelling Up curve so you don’t have to wait forever to level up!
- Repeated quests reappear immediately when completed, and are more robust
- A new tab to store Completed Quests - leaving your main screen uncluttered!
- Completed Quests gives Gold to collect
- More Audio Sets
- Mute for Sound Effects and Background Music
- Fixed bug with playing iPod music at the same time
- Multi-tasking crash fixed
- Moar Loot
- Help URL for instructions on how to use EpicWin in Options Screen
