My new favorite tweak for Mobile Safari has just been released in the Cydia Store: FullScreen for Safari, developed by the creator of Firewall IP, is a neat little app available at $1.49 (introductory price) through Big Boss repository that enables you to navigate in fullscreen and use two and three fingers multitouch gestures to surf the web faster with a lot more functionalities.
Once activated, a new tab will be added in the Settings app allowing you to tweak the behavior of Safari. You can assign gestures to different actions such as create new tab, reload, toggle fullscreen, close tab and go to bookmarks. If you have No Bookmarks installed, FullScreen for Safari is compatible. By default, two finger swipes let you navigate between open tabs, and you can even invert the L/R directions.
Three finger tap is also supported, together with shake (you can adjust sensitivity) and double tap with one finger. I’m testing the app right now and all gestures work really well.
What’s great about FullScreen for Safari is that it makes Mobile Safari a complete and easier to use browser. It’s a pleasure to tap and swipe around to move between tabs, fullscreen is very useful.
Recommended.
