iPhone Gamepad Prototype is What we Always Wished For

I’ll admit that while playing SNES games on your iPad or iPhone might be pretty cool, it’s near impossible to virtually replicate the use of the left and right bumpers on screen. Thanks to CP Design, they’ve finally created the iPhone gamepad we’ve been waiting for: one that actually has bumpers.

While this prototype was designed with the first gen iPhone in mind, you can clearly see the potential here. The iControlPad is the device every iPod touch and iPhone owner have dreamed of. While virtual joysticks and gyroscopes are cool, nothing beats the classic joypad. Be sure to watch the video below for a quick demonstration.
