Moodagent is a playlist generator focused on flavor. Whether your mood be sweet or sour, Moodagent’s latest push to v2.0 improves an already great mood & match system which generates some particularly spectacular playlists. Adding social networking features for Facebook and Twitter, as well giving users the ability to chop up playlists, this new release has me stoked.
Users new to Moodagent will appreciate the labeled sliders which can be enabled in the settings. No longer will you have to refer to a help chart to understand what the heart or a storm cloud stands for – it’s a much needed feature that helps customers understand how to generate better playlists.
Playlist in hand, you now have the option to create even bigger, more badass playlists than before. If you woke up on the wrong side of the bed, prepare for the worst by generating a fifty track playlist that should get you through the most miserable of mornings.
But let’s say you’re feeling a little promiscuous. Your playful side likes to show off, and there’s no place better than Twitter or Facebook. With that kind of publicity, your playlist will become the talk of the town.
Overall, Moodagent has been refined to lean, mean, mood swinging machine. Still free as ever (ad-supported), it’s one of those must have applications for anyone who wants to get a good sample from their music library. Though if you love it just as much as I do, then you might be willing to plop down five dollars for the ad-free version. Be sure to check out both versions on the iTunes store.
*Note from the author: Seriously, Moodagent makes some awesome playlists. Been listening to the same one all morning.
