Removr for iPhone

I don’t have many games on my iPhone and iPad,  but I enjoy sitting down and play something every once in a while. I loved Canabalt, I bought Real Racing when Firemint introduced Retina Display support, I was a die-hard Orbital fan. Oh, and I download the eBoy game, too.

A few days ago I bought a new game in the App Store, Removr.

Based on the popular Flash game Red Remover, there are three types of blocks: red, green and blue blocks. You have to get rid of all the red blocks (and balls, as you move on in the game) and save the green ones. It’s a very simple concept, yet it’s so addictive. The cool thing is, the app supports the iPhone’s accelerometer to let you play with gravity, thus increasing the difficulty of the game as you complete levels by adding new obstacles, complex block structures and challenges. It’s clever.

Removr is highly enjoyable and beautifully designed. Available at $0.99 in the App Store, go download it. Recommended.
