OS X Releases Of The Day: Billings Pro, Today 2.5

Today, the app from Secondgear Software I reviewed a while ago here, has been updated to version 2.5. The latest version introduces much better support for event and task creation: you can now set a default calendar for all your new events as well as create daily, weekly, mothly or yearly recurring events.

As far as bug fixes are concerned, Today 2.5 now handles MobileMe pref syncing much better. You can download a 14-day trial here or buy the application at $24.95.

As for business users, Marketcircle released today Billings Pro, a long awaited update to its award-winning time tracking and invoicing tool Billings. Billings Pro brings support for multi-user management and a full featured webapp that works across all modern browsers, no matter where you are or what device you’re using.

“Billings Pro was built on a proven foundation. It uses Marketcircle’s Apple Design Award Winning desktop interface from Billings 3, as well as an iPhone application based heavily off of their Macworld Best of Show winning application, Billings Touch. The synchronization technology is derived from Marketcircle’s Daylite application, battle-tested everyday by tens of thousands of people.

New in BIllings Pro is the addition of a web interface called Timecard. Timecard allows staff members to track time, mileage, and expenses from any modern browser – this includes Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and mobile browsers for Android, Blackberry, iPhone, and iPad.

With these combined applications, Billings Pro provides small service-based businesses with 1-50 users the best multi-user time tracking and invoicing solution available.”

You can purchase a single user-license of Billings Pro at $199.95. Check out the screenshots below.
