Amazon Releases Price Check for iPhone

The giant online retailer, Amazon, just released their new product scanning app for iPhone - Price Check. You can use your iPhone to compare prices with Amazon and its merchants wherever you are. You can search their online database using barcode, picture, voice and text search. That’s more options than what comparitive apps like eBay’s recently acquired RedLaser and the new ShopSavvy (which I like) apps.

The scanning option is for barcode scans; pictures are for books, DVDs, CDs or video games; speak your product name and it will search anything; and type the product by name, brand or Amazon model number to find the lowest price. Another feature that’s great is that once you find the lowest price on Amazon, you can then purchase the product without leaving the app, securely in the palm of your hand. Price Check is free, why not check it out? [App Store Link]
