As if there weren’t enough reasons to visit Amsterdam, you’ll be able to check out Apple’s new Store if you go to the city next year. According to a report from OneMoreThing, city authorities have granted Apple authorization to open the retail store in the center of Amsterdam, at Leidseplein, in the same building of Apple Benelux offices.
The site is still an art gallery, but apparently Apple has already started looking for staff and it’s aiming for a Spring 2011 opening.
Speaking of Apple Stores, an Italian newspaper recently revealed that Italy’s fifth Apple Store will open in Bologna, at Via Rizzoli, in Spring 2011. Apple will start working on the store starting next month, and according to different sources, Apple wants at least 10 stores in Italy by the end of 2011.
