When Federico reviewed Appsaurus 1.0, it came with a glowing review. Here you have a service that goes beyond the call of ‘Genius’ through its personal recommendation engine. Appsaurus has seen growth through it’s short lifespan in the App Store, adding features and learning how to make the best recommendations possible. Now, Appsaurus has gotten to be the app recommendation monster; In my eyes, being far more useful than Apple’s own service.
If you’ve never used Appsaurus before, now would be a good time to get onboard. With the introduction of Cloud Syncing and Lists, data backup and greater organizational features are now available with the tap of a finger. But asides from all the new features, you’ll be treated to an intuitive UI, the ability to filter your results (based on favorites, price, type), and great iPhone & iPad app recommendations.
What I’m most impressed with is the history features. You’ll never lose where you’re at in Appsaurus, and you can always return to whatever you were viewing by taking a peek at previous searches. I think it would be even more fantastic if you could mark interesting applications to notify you when they reach a certain discounted price in the store. If that $5.99 app you’ve been looking at goes on sale for $.99, I want to know!
When you first start Appsaurus, it does a great job of walking users through new features. And I think customers will be impressed with great visual effects and gesture based features. Appsaurus makes it very easy to narrow in on an App you like, and narrow the choices down to worthy gems. From the moment you start the app, until you become an Appsaurus veteran, nothing ever feels complex (even when new features are introduced).
Appsaurus is just a well done application that does what every iPhone owner wants: find more apps! We love loading up our devices, and for only a dollar in the iTunes App Store, you can get the best recommendation service right now. So with that said, I’m off to search for some buried treasure.
