Delta’s JFK Terminal Adding iPads

Anyone headed to New York’s JFK airport soon via Delta Airlines? Is a strip search worth a trip? Maybe not, but if you happen to be at the JFK airport, visit the Delta terminal to check this out.

It’s now home to 200 iPad tablets and being installed in cooperation with OTG Management, mostly in eateries – Croque Madame, a French restaurant; and Bar Brace, a casual Italian restaurant. This is cool: customers can order food from the iPad in order to have it delivered directly to them.

The ability to also use the iPad to check your email, surf the MacStories site and search for TSA policies more than compensates. OTG is hoping to add a similar installation to New York’s other major airport, LaGuardia, soon.
