Eric Schmidt Reminds People That He Actually Likes Apple

In an interview for the Wall Street Journal,  Google CEO Eric Schmidt talks about competitors and heaps praise on Apple and Steve Jobs.Check out the video below to see Eric Schmidt (nicely) emphasise how closed Apple is, how Bing is regarded as Google’s main competitor and how Apple or Facebook aren’t seen as competitors at the moment stating that:

“Facebook is too early to tell, Facebook is a company of consequence and they’re doing an excellent job building a social network. Apple is an extreme expression of a closed system and they’re doing a very good job of that.”

He obviously talks a lot about Google and openness but it’s an interesting watch.
