Hyperspaces, one of our 25 must-have Mac apps that we reviewed last year, just received a 1.1 update and it’s also available via the Mac App Store. Hyperspaces lets you to own and customize your Spaces; run the app in the menubar, in the dock, or both. So what has changed from a year ago?
It’s a major update that shows off some great new features:
- Setup each display within each space individually. Have you ever wanted to have a different desktop image on each of your displays for each of your spaces? Go for it!
- Shows the current space number in the menu bar — check out the gorgeous new icon!
- Show and hide your desktop icons for each space — perfect for setting up a quiet space with no desktop clutter, or recording that on- screen presentation without the mess
- Show and hide the Dock for each space
- Setup more than one space at a time. Just hold down shift or command while clicking on a space in the preferences;
- Preview your customizations right in the preferences
The other big news for Hyperspaces is that you can buy the app directly from the Mac App Store now. But don’t worry, you can still buy it direct from The CocoaBots too. There’s even a demo you can grab try before buying! Hyperspaces retails for $12.95 but for the rest of February, they’re selling it for $9.99 USD on the Mac App Store.
We’re big fans of Hyperspaces, it’s one sexy app your mac deserves.
