Latest Apple Job Listing Is Kind Of Intriguing

I can’t help but being excited when I see a new and interesting job listing on Apple.com: it makes me think of what’s coming next for us and what the folks over at Cupertino are working on.

As discovered by MacRumors, Apple is now looking for:

“an engineer keen on working with a team of highly motivated engineers and designers tasked with creating the next generation application for manipulating media. The candidate must be focused and motivated to solving problems that involve creating new user interfaces and allowing the user to manipulate content in new and exciting ways.”

New interfaces, apps to manipulate media? It reminds me of the leaked Magic Trackpad (prototype?), which should allow users to control Mac OS X using entirely multi-touch technology.

We have the feeling next year’s WWDC is going to be nothing short of a revolution for desktop computers.
