ShowPass is a new Safari extension by Canisbos (makers of extensions such as PopSearch, Placemaker, Moofmarks and TabKeys) that reveals your saved passwords when you move the cursor over the password input field. When you move your cursor out, your password is hidden again. Easy and simple!

ShowPass only works on sites that use the standard HTML tag for password input fields. It makes no attempt to do anything with fancy-pants password fields that use some other method to obscure the password.

Here is a visual sample of how it works - when I login into my dribbble account (not my real password, but nice try!), you can see the standard Safari password bullets but when I move my cursor anywhere in the password field, the actual password reveals itself. Magic? No. Magical? Yes.
