The iPhone Font, Created From 540 iPhone Apps

We saw spoof videos, people getting married in an Apple Store and even iPhone fridge magnets - but I never thought stuff like this one would be possible. Created by Urikane, the iPhone Font / Alphabet is an example of what people can do with “540 apps and too much free time”: this guy managed to recreate the entire alphabet in his homescreen by simply combining the icons of various iPhone applications, basing on their primary color.

If that’s a real springboard (and not something created in Photoshop, which would be stunning anyway) I suppose he’s using a jailbroken device to have all those pages. Also, quite strange that the W letter is missing. But overall, this clearly shows how passionate the iPhone community can be, and how much dedication someone puts in creating something..useless, like an iPhone alphabet. Great job, and be sure to watch the video embedded below.

UPDATE: Clearly that’s not a Springboard, seems more like a gallery in Photos.app. Great result, however.
