iHome is a favorite of mine when it comes to finding a good bedroom clock/radio & speaker for my iPod touch. Expanding the line to include Apple’s iPad, you can expect a whole slew of iHome gadgetry to arrive later this year to support your army of iDevices you likely received over the holidays. A couple products really stuck out to Federico and I, so instead of going through iHome’s entire catalogue of product-sauce which you can review at iLounge, we’ll share our favorites past the break.
The iDM70: A “Sound Sleeve” For Your iPad
Not too many folio-style iPad cases tickle my fancy, but my pick would have to be the iDM70, a speaker-infused case that presumably features flat, bluetooth speaker that can recharge via an included USB cable. Making an excellent travel companion, the iDM70 can stand in one of six positions as you clack away on your wireless Apple keyboard.
iD85: It’s Pretty Darned Gorgeous
Federico was really impressed by the looks of the iD85, and it’s clearly at the top of iHome’s luxury list. Working in conjunction with iHome’s iPhone app, it features dual alarms, gradual wake+sleep times, EQ controls, and battery backup so you don’t miss a minute when you lose power. We imagine this sleek radio won’t be cheap, but why not spend a little extra to have this little beauty on display?
Pricing has yet to be announced, but we imagine the iD85 will surpass the $100 mark, while the sound sleeve will hover around the $75 dollar mark. You can check out iHome’s remaining lineup at the source link below, and their current product line over at iHome Audio.
